When We start our journey from Fes driving to the Atlas Mountains, a wonderful Day Trip in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle. We will have Imouzzer as a first stop, a lovely small village between Fes and Ifrane. We’re going to enjoy its fresh air there, before moving to Azrou witch is an authentic Berber township where you can see locals still having life in tent & caves. We can also see houses with a classic green painted doors, windows and glazed tiles. Afterward, we’re going to visit caves; One of them is Mama Aicha cave which established about three hundred years ago. We’re also going to enjoy visiting local people and have a short conversation with them. Besides that we will also visit the oldest cedar forest in Morocco and Africa too. Where we can enjoy the cool and quiet surroundings of this lovely area. Later on , in our wonderful Atlas Mountains Day Trip, we will steal a brief glimpse of Berber apes jumping over the higher branches and swinging through the trees. then, we will drinking tea with native Berber family living in a tent , Sitting with them in Berber carpet and ask some questions to explore more about their tradition, culture & their lifestyle. Then , we will discover Ifrane ”the little Switzerland” and entertain seeing flower-lined paths and the French-style architecture of this quaint little ski resort. After that , we’re going to drive about 15 kilometers from Ifrane to reach a lovely stretch of water ” lake Dayit Awa” that will offer an incredible natural landscape & an ideal place to stroll & relax in front of that captivating lake.
While, enjoying your tour the driver guide will guide you to a traditional restaurant to have a tasty tempting lunch, also help with any in shopping if you would like to buy some of the local arts and crafts or even some souvenirs. Your tour ends back to Fes Medina in the late Afternoon.
