PAYMENT TERMS

➽To reserve your seat, you need to pay a non-refundable 10% deposit

➽ If you have sent the deposit and everything was done correctly, the remainder can be paid in cash (Euro , dollars or Moroccan dirham Rate is Depend www.xe.com ) to the driver on commencement of the tour. Also if you want to pay using a credit card on a POS system when you’re in Morocco, the service provider will charge you with 5% of the total paid amount which is not recommended.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN MARRAKECH

The trip starts from the airport in Marrakech, you will be welcomed by our driver and tour guide. They will pick you up and bring you to the Riad/ Hotel where you’ll be staying for 2 nights

In the evening, we will all share a dinner and introduction of what to expect on the entire tour. Then you’ll be free to explore the Medina on your own.

Today, You will have a private guided Tour of Marrakech Medina with an official guide from Marrakech. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, the Medina and its souks, and explore some more of Marrakech’s secrets: Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Saadian the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, night at a Riad in the Medina

At night, you will be going on an Amazing Food Tour for dinner where you will try some different local cuisines!

DAY 3: DRIVING THROUGH THE ATLAS MOUNTAIN TO DADES VALLEY (MARRAKECH - AIT BEN HADDOU - OUARZAZATE - DADES VALLEY)

Start from your Hotel in Marrakesh at 08H00 Am Meet your Guide/Driver and take the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas mountain range and travel to the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou kasbah heritage with your private Guide/Driver. then head through Ouarzazate known as ‘ The Gate of The Sahara ’ and onward for lunch at the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou kasbah. Follow your Guide/Driver on a tour of the kasbah and hear of the many famous films and photo shoots that have taken place there. Travel onward past the palm trees and gain insight into its construction and history from your Driver/Guide.

DAY 4: LUXURY CAMPING IN SAHARA DESERT (DRIVING FROM DADES VALLEY - TINGHIR - TOUDRA GORGE - MERZOUGA)

Following an early stroll to admire the authentic breakfast. at your traditional Riad in Dades Valley, we will continue our road trip to Todra gorges through the Anti-Atlas Mountains and the lunar landscape towards the town of Alnif. Continue to head Merzouga through the Berber village of Tinghir and the Todra Gorge — a small village on the edge of the mighty Sahara Desert. we will be crossing several Berber villages, then take a short break for lunch at either Tinjdad or Rissani. On our way to Merzouga you’ll Meet your camel caravan as the golden sun begins its slow descent over the dunes, set off toward Erg Chebbi, continue to Merzouga and join the Berber camps in the middle of the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, the highest in North Africa. Experience the camel trek where your secluded camp in the heart of the desert awaits. With the rhythms of traditional tamtam drumming from local nomads to entertain you, enjoy dinner and an evening under the stars before retiring to bed. DAY 5: DRIVING TO FES (MERZOUGA - ERFOUD - MIDELT - AZROU - IFRAN - FES)

We wake up early in the morning to see another great landscape in the dunes of Morocco Sahara. the spectacular sunrise from just behind the Algerian border, which is about 50 km from Merzouga. After breakfast you will take camel back to the Camp then we will depart towards Fes we will pass through Rissani and Ziz valley, we stop for lunch in Midelt (capital of apple)

we continue the way crossing the Middle atlas mountain and Cedars forest we pass Ifran, winter ski resort in a totally Moroccan style built by the French in the 1930’s to resemble a Swiss village, reach Fes in the afternoon, dinner and overnight stay.

DAY 6: WALKING TOUR AROUND FES THEN DRIVING TO MEKNES-CHEFCHAOUEN

Today will have a tour guide with local guide From Fes exploring the attractions of Fes the old imperial city of Morocco. The tour starts from the Royal Palace gate and takes you through the narrow streets of the Medina to the Jewish Quarter and the Tanneries. This tour highlights all the sites with cultural and historical interest including the famous Al karaouine University. Afterwards you will have the opportunity to visit the ceramics cooperative to see traditional Moroccan crafts.

In the afternoon we will take you for a short trip to visit Meknes, a World Heritage Site Unesco, later we'll continue driving to Chefchaoen the blue Moroccan city – dinner and overnight in the hotel in Chefchaouen.

After breakfast, your visit to Chefchaouen will starts by visiting the Blue colored walls, doors, and shops all over the city and get inspired by The beauty of the city that gives an amazing feeling and an attractive city that lead people over the world to take this trip and visit this place and its simplicity and beauty. Chefchaouen represents the real Moroccan life as lived by the people. And don’t ignore the new town, which has some lovely examples of Andalusian architecture After Lunch we will leave for the Akchour waterfalls, where you’ll be doing a Guided hike to the bridge of god. and the waterfalls, Discover the breathtaking nature. Our private Morocco 8-Day tour finishes today and we drive to Casablanca, then we transfer you to the hotel or airport and this will be the end of our Morocco trip. Airport drop off is included but you can also decide to stay for a night or more in Casablanca to go shopping!

1 CAN I COME SOLO?

Absolutely! The trip is an opportunity to connect with a group of women from all over the world and make new and lasting friendships. The majority of our trip guests come solo.

2 WHAT IS THE ACTIVITY LEVEL?

This is a very active trip and there will be lots of walking and exploring. The activities themselves are not strenuous and you have drivers throughout who take you between the hotels, restaurants and to your activities.

3 HOW MUCH FREE TIME IS THERE?

There will be two afternoons with some free time in the itinerary that you can use to relax at the hotel, go out to explore or go shopping. Of course, all daily activities are optional so you are welcome to skip something in favour of some down time!

4 HOW WILL WE GET AROUND?

We will have an air conditioned Mercedes luxury mini bus for the duration of the trip with our guide to take us from place to place. The minibus is equipped with Wifi and USB chargers. Please note Morocco is a big country and this tour does include some long driving days when we make our way out to the desert camp!

5 HOW MUCH CASH/SPENDING MONEY DO I NEED

I suggest bring USD, EURO or just withdraw in the ATM when we arrived in Morocco. We will be doing money exchange stops whenever we arrived in a new city. Since more of the expenses are covered on this tour, I suggest to put a budget of 20 to 30 Euro per day as your pocket money unless you drink a lot, plan to go crazy shopping or always hungry! HAHA

6 ARE THERE SINGLE OCCUPANCY ROOMS?

Yes, there are some single occupancy rooms available for an additional cost of around 160 Euro based on availability. All other rooms are shared occupancy with one other female guest. Each room has two beds, either two single beds or one double and one single bed.

7 WILL THERE BE A WIFI

Most of Hotels/Riads will have internet connection as well as traveling on the private mini-bus but not when we’re at the Sahara desert.

8 DO I NEED A VISA FOR MOROCCO?

A visa may be required to travel to Morocco. It is your responsibility to check the visa requirements based on your country of original / nationality and to obtain the correct visa for your trip. Morocco does offer visa-free travel for stays of up to 90 days for many countries.

9 CAN I JUST DO PART OF THE TOUR?

Sorry but no, you can contact us though if you want to go on a private tour!

10 WHAT SHOULD I PACK?

You’ll be getting a full list of what to pack and prepare 1 month before the trip departure! Don’t worry, we got you!

11 WHEN IS PAYMENT DUE?

Once your application is received and your booking confirmed a non-refundable 10% deposit is due immediately to secure your place on the retreat. The balance of the payment is due 20 days before the retreat start date.

12 WHAT IF MY TOUR DATES DOESN’T MATCH ANY OF THE PRE-BOOKED TOURS?

In case your travel dates differ, we recommend you book a private tour and invite others to join you and reduce the costs of transportation.

13 DO YOU CATER FOR DIETARY REQUIREMENTS?

Once your place is booked MVTG will send out a guest information form requesting information such as dietary requirements. We will do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements for meals in the hotels and at the restaurants.

14 DO I NEED TO PURCHASE TRAVEL INSURANCE?

Yes. You are responsible for obtaining your own travel insurance cover. We recommend and require that you purchase travel insurance. This is in order that you are insured should unforeseen circumstances prevent you from attending the trip. However, it is your responsibility to research travel insurance companies in your location and select an insurer that suits your needs and coverage requirements.
