3 Days Sahara Desert Tour From Marrakech To Fes Via Merzouga

DAY 1 : MARRAKECH – ATLAS MOUNTAINS – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES GORGES

Your driver will pick you up at 08:00 Am, and you will start 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to the Dades Gorges across the Tizi-n-Tichka pass through the Atlas mountain range and travel to the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou kasbah heritage with your private guide/driver. Head through Ouarzazate known as ‘ The Gate of The Sahara ’ and onward for lunch at the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou kasbah. Follow your guide/driver on a tour of the kasbah and hear of the many famous films and photo shoots that have taken place there. Travel onward past the palm trees and olive groves of the Skoura oasis to Kasbah Amridil and gain insight into its construction and history from your guide.

We will through the Valley of Roses to Kelaa Mgouna, a local rose plantation. Visit one of the rose-growing cooperatives and see as workers blend their ingredients to make rose-scented perfumes Overnight in a luxury Riad in Dades Gorges.

DAY 2 : DADES GORGES – TINGHIR – TODRA GORGES – TINJDAD – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA

After breakfast, we will drive from Dades gorges to Erg chebbi Sahara desert at Merzouga. Berber villages are scattered along the way, we’ll pass through Todra Gorges, Tenhir, Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet, and then we continue to a Hotel in Merzouga, after relaxing a few minutes you will take some of you luggage in a small bag (just the necessary for the night in desert) and leave the other luggage in the hotel, then we will ride the camels on an adventure crossing the Erg Chebbi sand dunes, this is a great opportunity to take lovely pictures of the sunset and sunrise. When we reach the camp we will leave the camels and we will walk to the highest sand dunes for sandboarding and to watch the sunset, you will spend the night in a luxury camp (Berber nomad tents) then have traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars. After having dinner you'll experience an amazing drumming music in the middle of the Sahara.

DAY 3 : ERG CHEBBI – ZIZ VALLEY – MEDILT – IFRANE – FEZ

Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the your desert camp where you can shower. You will depart to Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous and the valley of Ziz then stopping for a panoramic view of the oasis of Aoufous in the Tafilalte region. Continuation to Midelt across the pass of Tizi N’talghamt and have lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes (the medieval city) via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes. Drop off in your Hotel or Riad in Fes.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (There's a 50% reduction for children under 10 old whilst we don't charge children under 5).
