DAY 1 : FES- IFRANE- MIDELT- ERFOUD- ERG CHEBBI

Early morning pickup from your Hotel or Riad in Fez, meet your driver/guide with air-conditioned minivan head out through the fertile Saiss plains to the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas mountain range. Lunch break in Midelt, then continue to Ziz River where lush palm groves lie among the traditional Moroccan fortresses fortified kasbahs. Head through the oasis towns of Erfoud and Merzouga, then take your camel in Erg Chebbi and follow your camel guide into the Sahara Desert. Admire the incredible views as the sun sets over the high dunes. Then, arrive at a desert camp, where you spend the night, and have a traditional Moroccan dinner while local nomads play traditional folk songs. Overnight: Erg Chebbi Luxury desert camp.

DAY 2 : MERZOUGA- BERBER FAMILIES- BLACK DESERT- MERZOUGA (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)

After breakfast at your luxury desert camp you’ll start your explorative desert journey of the area, visiting the village of the Khamlia, originally slaves from Sudan to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there is the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations, including flamingos. You may also like to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are priced lower than in the big cities. On the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced Camel man, to explore inside the mysterious sand-sea of the Erg-Chebbi. Here you'll spend your first night under the stars, or if you prefer, in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night. Dinner luxury camp and Breakfast.

DAY 3 : MERZOUGA - ZIZ VALLEY - MEDILT - IFRANE - FEZ

Enjoy the typical breakfast in theDesert camp, then hop back into your vehicle for the onward journey to the holy town of Rissani, the birthplace of 17th-century ruler Moulay Ali Cherif the founder of Morocco’s ruling Alaouite Dynasty.

Continue to Midelt for having lunch then head along the Ziz River where fortified kasbahs (traditional Moroccan fortresses) lie among dense palm groves. Travel through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas and onward through the fertile Saiss plains, where native flora and fauna thrive. In the early evening, arrive at your Riad or Hotel in Fez.

Children must be accompanied by an adult (There's a 50% reduction for children under 10 old whilst we don't charge children under 5).

• A 4x4 can seat up to 4 adult passengers comfortably if there are 5 participants and up, a van will be used for your tour
• Wearing shorts and skirts is not recommending during the camel ride
